I hate it when I read a manga that has ideas and is trying to go somewhere, but gets cut short with a shitty non-ending that addresses nothing because the publisher decided to axe it.

I had my friends each "adopt" a Digimon in Time Stranger. How it works is they get to name and choose which evolution path it should take. It's a fun way to spice up the game and add more Digimon to my party rotation.

Labyrinth of Refrain and Labyrinth of Galleria are some NIS' best written games. The stories are super weird and interesting, full of bits of horror, the characters are fascinating and have touching connections. I just wish Galleria had a better game underneath it.

I got to show my friend the Digimon: Children's War Game OVA the other day. It's still one of the best Digimon anime of all time.

I think debuffs skills are actively bad in Time Stranger. Because they tick every action, the 3 turns of debuff wear off almost immediately on bosses that get 2-3 actions every round.

Every day I come closer to understanding why my old boss was the way she was. The amount of bullshit she had to deal with in and out of the team would drive anyone insane.

Got some bugs dropped on my desk at 3:30pm, for a machine (that I barely work on) that's shipping the NEXT DAY. I fixed them in an hour, but they were all things that were working in my initial implementation. Some jackass just messed it all up when consolidating code.

One thing I really love about Time Stranger is just how vibrant the environments are. Every town is bustling with people and digimon, and it really sells the world.

For some reason the company is having a flu + covid shot clinic on Thursday, which almost immediately translates into a Friday sick day for side effect recovery.

I am regularly reminded how much of an anomaly I am for being a competitive WIXOSS player with absolutely no local scene to speak of. Very few people would play a card game seriously without someone local to play with them.

Tried Hololive TCG with my friend, and I was pleasantly surprised that she really liked it. She already plays Pokemom TCG, so that's high praise coming from her.
