My grandfather was an army lieutenant in World War 2 after the Massacre at Manila against the Japanese, and my grandmother was a nurse cadet for the US military. There is not a single "sucker" or "loser" between them.

The greatest gift in my life is my pups. I will be only half of who I was when my Hugo leaves me. I've come to understand that the cancer is going to take him, but my heart won't hurt any less.

Today we found out our baby has liver cancer. Im beyond shattered and as a human being I'm lost. The one saving grace in all this darkness was my boys and to think I'll lose one kills me inside. He's truly the love of my life because there's no love like a Berners love for their human.

I absolutely HATE it when my babies are sick 😞 it's the one thing that makes me unable to eat and keeps me up at night.
