Fellow Californians - it’s time we flex our proverbial muscle and counter Texas’ actions.

I’ve already received mailers against it, so make sure people have accurate information and encourage them to vote YES on #Prop50.

Vote November 4th like the country depends on it. Because it might.
Yes on 50 signs are now available at most Democratic local offices for a small donation.

Polling shows a large number of undecided voters on this proposition, and with a month and a half to go, we need to make sure they go Yes.

From last night’s South Park.

You don’t need context, just enjoy the visuals. And don’t forget the lower-third.

Good morning America,

June 14th marks two birthdays - one of service, one of self. One sworn to defend the Republic, the other sworn to himself. On this day, we rise not against a date, but a delusional man.

Be peaceful but loud. Do not be intimidated.

Iranian counterattack incipient.

Good thing we have more combat troops in LA County than we do in Iraq and Syria.

Two U.S. officials said there is no U.S. involvement or assistance. The Trump administration has been in talks with Tehran on a possible nuclear deal and argued against such a step.

Now they’re asserting that federal troops can DETAIN US citizens “until law enforcement arrives for arrest.”

So soldiers with zero training on the California Penal Code will have detention powers without the ability to even identify what’s illegal.

That earlier Pentagon purge makes sense now.

Don’t watch his petty birthday parade, go out and show the authoritarian where power actually lies - with us.

Assemble peaceably and loudly.

And to paraphrase an orange narcissistic asshole, if we don’t fight like hell, we won’t have a country anymore.

Weird. He was right about something.

On June 14—Flag Day—Donald Trump wants tanks in the street and a made-for-TV display of dominance for his birthday. A spectacle meant to look like strength. But real power isn’t staged in Washington. ...

Tim Cook, Apple’s CEO, personally donated $1M to his inauguration, I assume in hopes of avoiding tariff hits. That’s proved to be a great investment, Tim.

Guess what? You can’t appease madmen. Stop trying. Fight him on everything, everywhere.

Today is the 80th anniversary of VE
Day, the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany.

We take for granted that the outcome of that war was not known in the moment, just as we do not know the outcome of the fight for democracy in this moment.

I hope good prevails now as it did then.

Gotta love using ICAO to get a point across.

Ninety-two years ago today, the Gestapo, Nazi Germany’s secret police, was formed under the leadership of Hermann Göring. They were responsible for the disappearing, incarceration, and death of countless people across the homeland and occupied territories.

History doesn’t repeat, it rhymes.

Yet another Rubicon crossed.

Judges are not low hanging fruit - they’re part of an entire branch of our government. The fact that they feel emboldened to do this should send a shiver down everyone’s spine that’s read a book on Europe in the early 20th century.

Mikhail Khodorkovsky was once Russia’s richest man—until he crossed Putin. Arrested, assets seized, a decade in prison.

A reminder to billionaires cozying up to the regime: authoritarian leaders use you until you’re a threat. Then they crush you. Wealth can protect you for a time. Then it can’t.

Understanding Accusations in a Mirror is crucial. It's not some fringe theory-it's a red flag of authoritarianism. We've seen this tactic before. We know where it leads.

The question is, what do we do to stop it?
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
It's not just projection-it's strategy. By accusing others of their own abuses, they deflect, confuse, and rally their base with a false sense of persecution. It's classic "mirror" propaganda. And it's dangerous.
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Today, we're seeing this again-blatantly-from Mango Mussolini and his allies. They accuse people of things they themselves are openly perpetrating. He accused Biden of doing it, and is now openly doing it himself.
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
"Accusations in a Mirror" has appeared across history: Nazi Germany, Rwanda, the Yugoslav Wars. Always the same script: claim your enemies are guilty of the atrocities you intend to commit. Sow fear. Justify repression or violence.
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
The goal: create moral justification for violence. If "they're going to kill us," then "we have to kill them first." It flips the narrative, paints the aggressor as the victim, and the real victims as a threat. And it works terrifyingly well.
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
There's a propaganda tactic called Accusations in a Mirror. It's exactly what it sounds like: accusing your opponents of doing exactly what you're doing. It's not just hypocrisy-it's a deliberate weapon to confuse, divide, and incite.
April 17, 2025 at 6:41 PM
Understanding Accusations in a Mirror is crucial. It’s not some fringe theory—it’s a red flag of authoritarianism. We’ve seen this tactic before. We know where it leads. Naming it is the first step in breaking the spell.
