i look up metal sonic art often and i’ve found that i don’t really like ‘organic’ takes on them. like the whole point to me is that metal is trying to be better than sonic but never can, they can’t easily express emotion, unable to show their frustration. they can’t speak (most of the time)!! Now from the perspective of Operator (RoR2: Alloyed Collective), he kneels and places his hand on the windowless door. On the outside, Bandit is playing a ukulele for the still-sealed drop pod.

Unfortunately, his huge robot arm covers up his entire waist, as I couldn’t think of a better pose for it (I’m disappointed too). Text nearby makes a false statement that reads “im so normal (source: trust me bro)”.

[bottom left] Operator but I made him small. Itty bitty perhaps…

[bottom right] Bandit (Risk of Rain 2) kneels as he hugs Operator by the waist, resting his head on his tummy in a way that’s certainly gay (:3). The gear itself lies in the background along with his prosthetic arm. i’m gonna be so honest i am VERY jealous of bandit and IM THE ONE THAT DREW HIM..

Operator raises up both his arms, as if he’s asking for a hug. His waist is squishable because I love him. The antennae also slightly separate. I just think he’s so adorable and I think about him in very normal ways. The drawing isn’t shaded, save for the forearm of Operator’s prosthetic.

freshly spraypainted parts of my bandit costume. they are laid out on a tarp outside for proper ventilation (safety is important!!!!)

got into outcome memories (knowing nothing about sonic) and have become irreversibly obsessed with metal sonic. just LOOK AT THEM. splendid metal creature. apparently they say ‘hue hue hue’ but i have yet to see this. lovely :3
