As I’ve found #comic #writers I enjoy I start picking up all their work as it releases and I’ve noticed that no matter how good the writer when they hit writing 3 simultaneous series there’s a strong chance the quality will drop and I haven’t found one that can write 4+ without large drop in quality

I found Dandadan s01 an enjoyable anime. It starts with a funny and unique setup, the character interaction is great and found myself watching with a smile for a lot of it. The nut jokes get a bit much but it begins to poke fun at itself for it. Looking forward to where s02 goes.

Cant wait for the Alien Earth finale tonight. I feel the elevator pitch for the series was ´Jurassic Park vs. Westworld’

Sakamoto Days s01 is a well done anime. They bypass the tired high school club anime trope with an extended family corner store. the characters and concept are fun but story can feel repetitive with constant attacks but sweet assassin powers and fantastic animation keep you coming back

Your Friends and Neighbours s01 is an excellent series with a large palette of characters and great acting, story has plentiful twists and I found it compelling throughout. I’m perplexed why it hasn’t gotten more attention.

Wow A Quiet Place is so bad. How did people watch in theatre? Did it have subtitles or did you have to pick up everything from context cues which make the ´dialogue ´ pointless anyway, and the entire movie a waste of time. It needed way more alien driven suspense to cover the boring story and plot.

The Paper s01 is a decent Office spin off. The humour is character based, developing as you meet a mostly new cast & Oscar. It avoids being an Office rip off like Brooklyn 99 and Abbott, instead stays true to the core of what made Office special. Interested to see if they can keep it up.

The Studio s01 is excellent, fun story with lots of moving parts but easy to follow. Loaded with cameos of Hollywood figures at times you wonder if theyre playing characters or themselves, either way this satire of the film industry is a great series so far.

Futurama s13 is another winner. Fun stories often with a poignant touch or science facts woven in. I left a couple episodes unwatched so I could enjoy fresh episodes in the future.

Mindhunter s01 is a solid show. Not really typical of the shows I enjoy I was intrigued by the well paced storyline and excellent acting that made keep coming back until the season was over.

Star Trek irks me sometimes. this is supposed to be thousands of years in the future in multi-race universe but they always quote old earth poetry, play earth 50s songs, travel in time to current day earth etc. Needs creativity, give me andorian songs and ferengi homeworld time travel.

I wish no one had to die but #CharlieKirk was of the opinion that senseless gun deaths were worth 2nd amendment rights so in 🇺🇸 where someone has to die from a shooting I would rather it be a 31 yr old man who thought it was worth it rather than some schoolchildren trying to learn.

Children of Dune starts a new adventure 12 years after the other series and films story ends. It has some interesting plot ideas, detailed story and characters but in final e03 it focuses on the politics, lore and drama with only one short action scene I can remember.

Dune 2000 is a series telling the same tale as the movies with more of a battlestar Galactica quality. It uses CGI but it’s limited and they got the good stuff for the era. It’s well done retelling overall.

Dune 2021 is a solid film with an unsatisfying ending as its only the first half. Part 2 has a great ending but brutally slow early on, it’s as if the Star Wars dagobah training scene with Luke and Yoda lasted over an hour and a half. I think new film does better job explaining but I prefer 80s Dune
