Happy #Halloween 🎃Since this fellow was so popular we are once again sharing spooktacular illustrations of Vampyroteuthis. The 'vampire squid from hell' is neither squid nor vampire, using sticky filaments to feed on marine snow

OTD in 1836, HMS Beagle docked at Falmouth, after a 5 year voyage.

Charles Darwin wrote in his diary, “To my surprise and shame, I confess the first sight of the shores of England inspired me with no warmer feelings, than if it had been a miserable Portuguese settlement.”

I wish I had more slow mornings where I can just enjoy the sunrise with little light music⛅️
Cuppa tea or coffee with a good book📖

No obligations.
No deadlines.

Just a little peace☺️

You know you live in a college area when there’s a CC’s Coffee, Starbucks, and Dutch Bros Coffee on one intersection.

There’s also a 7 Brew Coffee around the corner.

If you need caffeine, LSU’s got you covered☕️

A brilliant ending for the season!😭✨

I’m glad Bertha is not getting off that easy. I still haven’t forgiven her for the arranged marriage and manipulation either.
Also, the acting in the first 7 minutes was top tier! Emmy’s all around!

See y’all in season 4!✨

I just finished Blood of Zeus, Season 3.
I have too many questions:

*spoilers*

Persephone is just a shade now? She wasn’t part of the final scene on Olympus.
Does Demeter ever tell Hades about this?
What about Melinoë and Zagreus? Still sleeping?
No reunion in the Underworld?!
