How Can Data Cooperatives Help Build a Fair Data Economy?
Join us for the launch of "How Can Data Cooperatives Help Build a Fair Data Economy? – Laying the Groundwork for a Scalable Alternative to the Centralized Digital Economy", the final report in collaboration with the Decentralization Research Center informed by extensive research, 16 interviews of world renowned experts, and insights from a workshop with over 38 cooperative experts and practitioners.This interactive session will explore how data cooperatives can offer a fairer, more democratic model for data governance, drawing lessons from legacy co-ops, emerging global use cases, and practical pathways to scale. Participants will hear from leading voices in the field and have the opportunity to contribute to the growing movement shaping the future of the digital economy.
