While WW3 is unlikely we cannot dismiss the risk of a second war, which would be far more dangerous than the current Israel-Hamas conflict.
Recent years have witnessed an erosion of democracy in the US through election manipulation and executive overreach. This decline has roots in partisan politics, state-level legislation, and weakening checks and balances. The impartiality of the judiciary is also in question.
