Viborg Gymnasium has unveiled a stunning terrazzo floor created by Amalie Smith as part of the Levende jord (Living Soil) project.
Created in collaboration with CeMiSt, Microflora Danica, Biotech Academy, and donated by Ny Carlsbergfondet.

Associate Professor Detmer Sipkema from Wageningen University @w-u-r.bsky.social gave an interesting talk at CeMiSt last week: "The biosynthetic landscape of marine sponge microbiomes" elaborating on the ecological role of their metabolites in the sponge holobiont – absolutely fascinating!
