Just got back from Morocco, so have a picture of Paradise Valley in the Atlas Mountains. If you see an ad for a 'short hike' there, be aware that the route is approx 50% vertical.

Very much so. There is visible poverty in some towns, for sure, but we never felt unsafe walking around.
