But thanks to recent SCOTUS "rulings" isn't the CRA of 1964 all but dead? And if it's null and void, how can the administration use it to justify ICE/military operations in MN? Or is it "valid" only when supporting 47's overreach?

When you give someone a gun they're just itching to use it. It's like a talisman for murder. Instead of a last resort option, these guys can't wait to draw and fire on someone *they know* can't return fire. That's not "self defense", it's 1st degree murder, leaving a trail of death in their wake.

I was just picturing someone uncapping a fire hydrant next to a fleet of ICE vehicles and encasing their tires in ice... even better, attach a fire hose to it and ice their doors shut. All of this just imagination play, ok?

Someone needs to force the entire SCOTUS bench to watch this together in open court and show us where the victim's fourth amendment rights were preserved. THIS IS PRECISELY WHAT THE FOURTH AMENDMENT WAS WRITTEN TO PREVENT. Where are you "originalists" justices now??? SMDH

β€οΈ Thurgood Marshall. Today's GOP SCOTUS appointees are a pale imitation (is that a pun?)... they're caricatures of a SCOTUS justice. Marshall embodied everything that was good about the court and the law. If we could replace the RedHats with more justices like Marshall we wouldn't be in this mess.

Sure, Congress can pass a hundred bills to de-classify, but unless they're signed by Trump, they moulder away in what's called a "pocket veto" until the term ends, when the bills awaiting a signature die. Congress can't vote to overturn the veto because it wasn't officially vetoed. They expire.

If history repeats itself, a modern day Robespierre will arise and the US will experience its own version of "the Terrors." Each town will stage public executions of anyone who looks the wrong way, until everyone is sick of the bloodshed and a new moderate government forms. I hope we can avoid it.
