Look at the awful DHS ad that just showed up in my puzzle app. I complained to the developer.

Martial law in Poland 1980. I never thought there would be scenes like this in the US

@repfletcher.bsky.social maybe you could explain to your constituents that STAR = Medicade.
AGAIN: TENNCARE IS MEDICAID

1.5 million Tennesseans are on it

Most are working. The rest have other reasons, despite the fearmongering.

It’s not cash. You can’t live large on it.

Cutting $1 TRILLION to give a tax cut to the rich is cruel. @MarshaBlackburn @RepTimBurchett

Anyone remember February 2021? And you STILL reelected the SOBs.
The massive government failure seen in Texas and the loss of life can be directly attributed to the ongoing mismanagement under Greg Abbott. This isn't the first time Texas has been failed and as long as they keep empowering ghouls, it won't be the last.

I want the kind of Fourth of July we used to have, but without the iffy potato salad.

Remember how the Declaration of Independence cataloged all the harms King George III had visited upon the American colonists?

Trump has committed many of those same violations in just a few months. @davidcorn.bsky.social & @timothypmurphy.bsky.social lay it out: www.motherjones.com/politics/202...
Here are the Declaration of Independence’s grievances against King George III. Many apply to Trump.
It's uncanny.

So, Mr. Schiff, what are you going to do about it?
Schiff: "The failure to brief Dem lawmakers, the making this just another partisan exercise by the administration when it comes to something as serious as the decision to potentially engage in warfare, it means that you're not gonna have the whole country bought into this, which is a real problem"

So, Mr. Schiff, what are you going to do about it?
Schiff: "It's not an operation that should've ever been authorized by the president in the absence of intelligence showing that Iran had made the decision to break out and build a bomb."

Three words. Houston. Hurricane Rita.
I know a lot of people just don't really know much about foreign cities, but please imagine how it would go if someone told all of NYC to evacuate "immediately," and then add two million more people to that scenario
President Trump urges all of Tehran to evacuate "immediately" in new social media post as he says Iran can’t have a nuclear weapon.

Houston’s protest went very smoothly. Lots of people, this is just a small segment of the march.

@nytimes.com @washingtonpost.com Don’t think you can distract us from T’s overt corruption by talking about President Biden. We are onto your whitewashing.

@nytimes.com if you reported it it accurately, they would pay attention.
"Voters were more likely to approve of President Trump’s job performance if they had not been following some of the major news stories of his first 100 days in office, a recent New York Times/Siena College poll found."
