This year’s horseshoe crab eggs have arrived!
Each spring, our dedicated animal care specialists and volunteers raise horseshoe crab eggs to be released later as part of our Horseshoe Crab Head Start Program.

Have you met our new arrival? She may look like an eel, but she’s actually a fish: a juvenile Ocean Pout! The Ocean Pout gets its name from its oversized upper-lip, making it look like this bottom-dwelling fish is “pouting”!
