Maybe one of the most ridiculous models Lionel ever made, but I love them. There are five sets currently available, with a handful of new individual engines on preorder, and I just need one more set to complete the collection. Behold, the Lionel Phantom!

It's been a fun couple weeks getting to unbox and play with all the new Lionel Vision Hudsons, and we are ending on a high note. The folks at METCA did a great job. I'm working on a longer video talking about the release as a whole, should be up on YT later this week.

Here's a fun project. One of my friends has written a Python wrapper for all of the Lionel TMCC/LCS command sets, which gives us the ability to build custom physical *and* digital controllers. Here's a RPi with a 10in touchscreen that can toggle the power to all of my blocks. So many possibilites!

The "Niagara Falls De Luxe" train was operated by the NYC starting in 1929 until the Great Depression. I'm not sure what pulled it in real life, but I picked the Lionel Vision Niagara, one of my favorites. #choochoo #lioneltrains #oscale #modelrailroad

Really enjoyed getting to pull out the 2010 Lionel Vision Hudson and make it go fast. The cars are really nice, as most 21" Lionel cars are, but the green is really distinctive. I want a set of the 3 made in the 1950s to have new AND old. #lionel #oscale #modelrailroad

I was super excited to get this custom run, but Lionel put the wrong road number on the lead engine. Dealer was very gracious in sending the locomotive off to have the proper number applied, and now they are perfect. I'm happy to add another L&N set to the collection!
