I haven't been staring at old pics all day. I was at my mum's looking after stepdad and ended up sketching instead of reading (and wanted to paint it in with watercolours but had to abandon that plan since not the right paper. So not the look I was going for 😅). Eh, having fun!

Didn't get as much done in the house as I had planned, but have been messing around with watercolour and I'm quite happy with the results. And it's the weekend. Relax and all that 🎉

Had a friend over today and we chatted and drew/ tried out each other's new pens etc. She picked an Avatar char for me to work with (and try something new) and first attempts at aquarel. It was fun!

I just had to get up a ladder since my cat managed to get on the roof (and in the gutter) and didn't know how to get down. And how is your Saturday going? 😅

I got some tinted charcoal pencils and I absolutely love them! (but cursing cause I didn't get any pink).

Keeping up with drawing a bit every evening (and hoping to improve. Focus the next few days on nose and lips but once you got those the eyes are just begging to be included. Eyes are more fun!). So tired though, but my meeting went very well. Yay 😊

About 3 hrs left before the meeting with the chairman of the board, and I'm still quite zen. It's a bit disconcerting. Here's to hoping I'll be able to stand my own and not stutter the whole way through! 🤣

Well, I think we can say my eye drawings have improved, but when it comes to faces (noses omg...) there's still much to learn!
But I'm having fun. It's been years since I've really sat down and tried to draw and I'm glad I still enjoy it so. And I love charcoal!

I should be getting nervous for my meeting with the chairman of the board on Wednesday, but nope. I'm strangely relaxed and not worried. Dry run tomorrow with my boss. We'll see if that helps!

Been sketching some more and love the charcoal pencils! But, alas, there's lunch and giftwrapping and then off to celebrate Skye's 6th birthday.
More work on that eye once I get back. I'm itching to edit, and draw more. I'm just having so much fun, errors be damned.
