I think I finally figured out why a story I wrote a few years ago hasn’t been working. This rewrite is going a lot better in my opinion

What gives me anxiety/ stress is seeing everyone I know reach their publishing goals and feeling behind/ jealous because I’m not there yet I’ve got three projects that I start and stop bc of lack of time
I just have to keep reminding myself we all move at our own pace and I’ll get there eventually.

going into my second semester of this doctoral program 😎 high key excited for this Queer Theory course … idk what we learning specifically but I know it’s gonna be 🔥

My dog really yelled at me bc she was ready for bed and I was still watching … Went to the room, turned out the lights and laid down and she finally stopped barking… I got a full toddler on my hands and it’s wild 🙃

The way my vocab has expanded within the few months of being in this PhD program… I never seen/ heard the word epistemology and now I’m out here using in a sentence for an essay I’m writing 😅

Conducted a random job search just to see what’s there and I basically need to publish my novel and write/ publish some academic essays to even have a shot at getting the job I want.
So I’m basically gonna have an insanely busy winter / summer break 😅

If I have to see the word canon or canonical one more time … I might actually scream. This book I’m reading for a class has probably used it at least 80 times within the first 50 pages. I’m so over it. 😑
