I went to a neighborhood meeting this week about the Squares & Streets initiative (rezoning project). There were lots of concerns about displacement that made it hard to be excited about the initiative coming to our area. Hopefully this means we can get the anti-displacement protections in place.
We are releasing our first-ever Anti-Displacement Action Plan, because Boston’s growth should stabilize families and deepen roots.
And we're launching a Co-Purchasing Pilot Program to help residents buy multi-family homes through co-ownership agreements with 0% interest deferred loans. #BostonSOTC

I’ve been dreaming for years of buying a multi family home with friends, and know of folks who have done it through a LLC, so I can’t wait to learn more about this co-purchasing program.

I’ve been dreaming for years of buying a multi family home with friends, and know of folks who have done it through a LLC, so I can’t wait to learn more about this co-purchasing program.
A decade ago I was very active on twitter (rip). I used it to connect w/ exvangelicals, local community organizers, & it played a role in meeting my now husband (while live tweeting at a conference).
I stopped tweeting years ago & haven't posted much online anywhere. But I'm hopeful for this space.
