For young parents - This is my son’s very great friend. My son was a groomsman. I’ve known the groom since he was 6 (2003.) It’s not (only) that it “takes” a village, it is a village. Don’t pick your kids’ friends, love who they pick. Trust me, it’s lovely.

I'm in Maine and hearing about Canadians looking to cross the border. When asked about Trump, if they don't show full support, they are turned away and unable to cross at other border crossings. There’s a list. Admittedly hearsay, but there is value in knowing the scuttlebutt. I hate this admin.

Good news, the bar I’m in is playing The Princess Bride on the TV, the bad news is that I’m at the Chicago Airport. My flight has been delayed four hours (for now.) (I think it’s been a hard day for the folks working in the airport, the bartender keeps whispering “fuck” under his breath. Poor guy.

There is zero sense in simply wishing for younger party leaders. What we need are new strategies, better messaging, and a forward thinking platform. That does not preclude a mix if young and old.

Speaking of date rape drugs…In the last couple of years my son and daughter finished college. In my focus group of two schools, it is beyond comprehension how grossly prevalent those drugs are on campuses. The creeps that sell them, buy them, and know about them - awful.
