The one good thing I'd say is that Pokemon Company are taking a step back and taking their time developing the next mainline game, but that also might just be them leaving it for the next console so we don't have a Let's Go situation again.

I don't know how to feel about the reveal of Pokemon Legends Z-A. On one hand, bringing back Megas is cool and all, but on the other hand, it seems like a way to divert attention from the recent flops by giving us something we want. Pokemon Z, Mega evolutions. It all seems engineered for hype...
