I wrote about the vast secondary transport system serving 4M people in Oaxaca’s three valley region. I’m building a map to plot as many stations as I can find. There are dozens scattered around the city’s Centro district, but no source material that lists them in one place. (see photos below)

We’re seeing “losing trust in institutions” a lot lately, referring to the CDC, but is that really the best framing?

When one sincerely loses trust it’s because they were deceived or victims of incompetence. People are told not to trust the CDC by bad faith actors. It’s simply willful nihilism.

Whether he’s alive, dead, healthy, sick, it is very true that he hasn’t made a public speaking appearance, video or live, for the last six, going on seven, days. Any other president that would be a massive story.

This is a really slippery subject, but if Dem pols & advisors really want to find out how their left/liberal likely voters “think”, they should stop relying on polling and just come to Bluesky and quietly read the replies to the political punditry posted here every day. We aren't going to make it to the midterms unless some critical mass of us simply decides to not cooperate - with ANYTHING. Or at least on SOME level. And here's what I mean: maybe 20% of us make the conscious decision to drop
