Capitalism teaches us it’s wrong to rest.

Ableism teaches us being sick means we’ve failed.

Fascism teaches us that disabled people are expendable.

None of it is true. It’s ok to rest. In fact, for most of us it’s necessary.

Disability is not a moral failing and none of us are expendable.

I really enjoyed Jo Blaker's draw along session this week. We drew from her photos of Dentdale.

I felt really frustrated at one point so I switched from mixed media to watercolours, which I'm so much more familiar with, and sketching immediately felt so much easier.
