I am so thrilled to announce I’ve accepted a *permanent* reporting position with CBC in Terrace and Prince Rupert.

I’m so sad to be leaving grande prairie, it’s been so much fun and I’ve genuinely loved it here. The stories have been incredible.

I start in Terrace Jan 12.

About 500 people showed up to the town hall in Fairview last night from across the region, to share their concerns about the looming NWP campus closure.

It's an issue that hits home for a lot of people.

An absolutely packed house at Fairview's Dunvegan Inn for a town hall regarding the future of Northwestern Polytechnic's Fairview campus. There's a lineup out the door to get in.

NWP announced last week that they would be moving to a singular location due to a budget shortfall.

I started a personal project.

I am trying to talk to journalists and other media types about their time reporting in Vancity.

It was an idea that Mike Eckford sparked when we used to get Terry Bell to read bed time stories on the radio.

I finished the first one and its with George Garrett.

Everywhere I go, people are wearing Jays gear. People I know who have never watched baseball (me included) are staying up past midnight to for an 18th inning. The coffee shop has baseball donuts.

And, I cannot emphasize this enough, I am in a city *3000 km from Toronto*
