I'm a mum of 3 grown up sons, married to John who is my best friend. I work in IT and do Morris dancing, singing in a choir and acting for fun. I love science, nature and creativity. I've been a pagan and a druid for over 20 years in OBOD and ADO/UDM.
I'm far too happy for a wet Monday morning in January. Why? Moving our radio alarm from Radio 3, which with the best will in the world I just don't get, to Scott Mills breakfast show on Radio 2. Happy music, I was nearly dancing around the bedroom!

I went to parkrun this morning for the first time since October, it was my 123rd parkrun. It was very sunny and frosty. Thanks to all the volunteers who stood around in the cold.

I have always been in favour of assisted dying, if we are too humane to let our pets suffer when there's no hope of recovery, why are we so heartless to sick people in the same position.

Completely, our libraries and museums are at risk, we need donations from rich philanthropists to keep them.

Second and third favourite things, my husband John and seeing the world. We haven't done much travelling yet but went to Rome last month and it was beautiful.

A few of my favourite things to get started on here. Number 1, Morris dancing. I've been a member of Mayfly Morris in Whitchurch, Hampshire since January. Here we are back in the Spring when we were starting to get our kit together.
