Thank you & sorry it took me so long!! I don't mind answering, I just kept thinking about how to best put it & then forgot. In the beginning I didn't really feel much about bottom!Reigen at all, I initially saw him as vers, it was just that I saw Mob bottom-leaning (which has also changed by now). The reason bot!R became iffy, if not icky, for me is for how characters with controlling traits like him tend to be treated in fandom. While Mob is 'my' character, I relate to both of them a lot & on the top of the list for Reigen is how hard of a time he has to let go of control, especially over other people. Which I know, this sucks. So does Reigen, hence I relate. Honestly I could write whole paragraphs about how much his arc in this regard means to me & how close this hits to home, which I won't, but just. Understand it is incredibly close & personal to me. He's also certainly not the first control-freak-ish character I love (eg see Sasori) either & I've been through this before - these types of characters, as long as they have something arguably feminine about them (which could warrant a whole other discussion - & I'm not saying this should never be enjoyed, but it certainly adds to why it rubs me personally the wrong way) tend to get the "he just needs a good fuck"-treatment There's always this sentiment, underlying or very openly, that someone who has controlling traits needs to be put in their place, or secretly craves to have the tables turned to be able to let go, that they just need the right top to become a bottom bitch, gets called bratty etc. Contrary to canon where controlling traits are often relevant in various ways, fandom rarely respects them as a meaningful & true aspect of the character. It's just a joke most of the time & a gimmick in smut to be treated as something that needs a "fix" by an outside force. For Reigen especially that's really discrediting to his own character arc, too. Unfortunately as someone having a hard time letting go of control, which absolutely extends to sex, I have a very subjective relationship to all that & it is that deep to me. & I am of course aware none of that is about me, but I just can't help but take these things personally sometimes, so I tend to keep my distance not just to the content, but also the people who enjoy it. On a more tmi sidenote, as a top-leaning person, bottoming is smth incredibly powerful & meaningful to me, it's hard as fuck. And I do like the trope of tops bottoming for someone they love - just not in a "that's secretly all they ever wanted" or similar way. (Also, top≠dom & bottom≠sub but the things I have issues with are indeed usually applied in a top/bottom sense)

Haven't ever really been in a Mob gangbanged mood but it might just change. Naturally it has to happen during Mogami arc, not because I can't handle him having terrible experiences in his real world but because my virginity obsession can't handle having it actually taken by anyone but Reigen.
