Men are taught to make snap judgements so they can be a "leader." Men are trained to process ideas through a judgement lens, not a curiosity lens. Even if they didn't know anything about the topic, men will die on the hill of their opinion.

I am one of those genders that the United States no longer recognizes. My government doesn't have the right to define me, but they do have the ability to embolden violent people against me. His political theater has real consequences on people like me.

I just went through my TikTok following list. I send some DMs to a few people, saying goodbye. It feels stupid, but I'm grieving today. It felt like I was part of something meaningful and important. And now it feels even more impossible to change the world into what it needs to become for our kids.
