Oh, that's right, this platform exists.
Fallout 4's dialogue system has a lot of flaws, but I love how it finally let you just step away from the conversation for a moment to use any drugs or wearables you needed to pass a skill check.
Now if only Fallout 4 had enough skill checks in dialogue for this to be particularly useful...

I've noticed recently that some people actually feel comfortable publicly venting about their lives online, which is now unimaginable to me. I think you'd have to either control yourself too much for it to be effective venting, or worse, convince yourself that the internet is a friend that listens.

Are there any games that let you/your friends draw on a shared map, and then applies those drawings to a(n ideally mini) map you can see while playing?
Like, letting you illustrate a plan for someone to follow, and they can reference it with ease as they execute it.

for anyone worried by 007's recommended specs, i have a theory this includes glacier's ray tracing implementation that ioi's struggled to optimise; the game should look just fine without it, so it can run on switch 2/at 60fps on xbox x and ps5

If anyone's interested in trying something new, I strongly endorse the live newsfeed editing game Not For Broadcast. It has some incredibly unique gameplay, further reinforced by a surprisingly intriguing story and likely the funniest sense of humour I've ever enjoyed in a game.

i overestimated the video's revenue; it's still not in the black, but should reach that point around july 2026, assuming the channel member who joined on the video doesn't unsubscribe before then, and that we continue to not adjust the profitability goalpost for inflation since june 2025.
It will take about two months for my review of Hitman on Switch 2 to turn a profit.

i always knew this video would do well, but i'd like to think the post-release optimisation played a factor in it being the best performer out of the previous ten! on average, someone has clicked on this video every 20 seconds since its release.

i love doing this stuff so much; making thumbnails felt like a crapshoot (in a field i'm not particularly skilled in, visual arts) before youtube's a/b testing feature allowed me to get solid data on what works. now it's like a game to think of and try ideas to streamline videos that're already done

the only area i know of where hdr seems to be the norm is portable devices, specifically most flagship phones (because many engineers seem to see them as compact digital cameras with calling functions attached, and that's awesome) and the recent nintendo switch 2.
it amazes me that hdr is still considered a "nice to have" thing for hardware and supporting software, rather than becoming an expectation and eventual standard. what do you mean this has been in hdmi and games consoles since 2015, and barely any games released today properly support it???

i've been playing a bunch of vicky 3 recently (me as yugoslavia, with my girlfriend as haiti), and my best advice for when you get late enough in the game for internal management to become simple is to do a little of what we call "Knock-knock-a-knockin' on Beijing's door"

you guys have no idea how annoying diana is as a youtuber. what if a woman talked over the game at the exact same volume your voice should be at, and the only way to disable her was to turn off all talking altogether.
