Just a random note. I love not having kids. We’re both in our 30s and on days off we just go do stuff. Wanna go to Gettysburg? Sure. Wanna go to a restaurant 2 hours away? Let’s go! Wanna go to Atlantic City this weekend? Yea! It’s so nice.

I feel terrible. We’re supposed to give Casper his meds every 8 hours. We’re both gone about 10.5-11 hours. I’m just panicking.

Picking up Casper. $3,200 total. We have pet insurance but still with the deductible and 20% were still paying about $640 but not as bad !SO HAPPY to have Cassie back

Missing him so much. I feel so lost without him here. He will be able to come home tomorrow afternoon from the ER as long as he pees & urinalysis comes back clear of crystals. He’s probably like what in the world is happening to me. 😢

They did unblock him. Crystals in urine. Kidney & blood work look good. He just has to pee on his own and he’s good to come home Tonight or tomorrow morning. I miss him. And the vet praised me that I caught this early. On strict script diet now like Pumpkin. NO other food or treats.

My poor baby. I came home with an empty carrier. He’s staying for 24-36 hours so they can unblock him, give fluids, tons of meds, and catheterize until he pees on his own. I knew what to look for because we’ve been through this twice with Pumpkin.

All I can say is thank the lord Jesus Christ I have pet insurance. 2nd cat now with urinary blockage.

CASPER HAS A partial Urinary blockage. 😭😭😢he eats pumpkins prescription food to prevent this exact thing, and drinks a ton of water. WTF MAN

So I’m starting to panic that he’s blocked. He’s in box and not peeing or pooping. Idk if it’s constipation or blockage. We already have 1 cat with a history of blockages and other things we don’t need another. There’s no open vets either within 45 minutes of us.

Now Poe is probably gonna have diarrhea because I was scraping the jar of pumpkin puree into Tupperware to put the rest in the fridge and he was head first in the container going to TOWN 😹🤣

I made a vet apt tomorrow afternoon just in case we need it. But hoping the pumpkin puree does the trick and he’s better tomorrow.
