Mike Piazza has spent the past few years trying to rebuild the foundation of baseball in Italy. What does a challenge that imposing involve for the Hall of Fame catcher? I spoke with him to find out:

Piazza dreaming big while reshaping baseball’s foundation in Italy
“It all starts with a dream.” Ask Mike Piazza about his goals for baseball in Italy and he’ll likely find his way back to this thought. The Hall of Fame catcher has already made multiple noteworthy co...

It’s ironic that one of Emmanuel Clase’s rigged pitches allegedly took place in the ‘24 playoffs, the same postseason in which he responded to a bad outing by bragging about all the awards he’s won.

That pitch, and all the others, have ensured his days of competing for those same awards are over.

Sources tell me and Mark Feinsand that the Reds are bringing in 1B/DH Nathaniel Lowe as a non-roster invite on a minor league deal. Hit 18 homers last year with Nationals and Red Sox.

"If we just keep revising the reason why everyone should be wildly upset about a 12 minute halftime show that encouraged unity and also took place nearly a week ago, surely people will eventually join our cause, right?"

Kris Bryant earned his third All-Star nod in 2021. He’s played 170 games since that season.

Just genuinely sad to see a promising career get derailed by a slew of injuries and ailments, the most recent of which certainly makes it tough to believe Bryant can get back on that path any time soon.
Kris Bryant placed on the 60-day IL.

He’s hit 17 HR across four seasons since signing his 7-year, $182M deal with Colorado.

Three years ago, the Guardians traded Aaron Civale to the Rays for their No. 4 prospect Kyle Manzardo.

Manzardo has since become Cleveland's starting first baseman and is coming off a 27-homer season.

Civale just joined his fifth team since leaving the Guardians.

A Patriots team with five first downs now has to score three touchdowns to win.

We can probably start wrapping this up.

It’s really weird seeing the Patriots in the Super Bowl with an offense that can’t do a damn thing

After embracing mediocrity for the majority of Anthony Grant’s tenure, Dayton is now embracing miserable basketball
Dayton is down by 31 and they’re 3-11 from 3. A beautiful disaster.

Tarik Skubal wins his arbitration case and gets paid $32 million this year, proving it’s very difficult to argue “this back-to-back Cy Young Award winner actually isn’t *that* good”
