The possibility that this will end in TACO is rapidly disappearing. I cannot overstate how devastating this will be. The entire decade I've worked in this field HUD has emphasized how we need to house the most vulnerable people and now 2/3 of them will lose their supports.

Even if you accept the government's framing of the case, Charlie Kirk was killed by a white Mormon man who met a trans person, realized how hateful & cruel the right is, and, because of his conservative upbringing, only had the tools to respond to someone he saw as a bad man with violence
