I am back from visitng Auschwitz. Peole are forgetting that anti-semitism led to extreme acts against jewish people. I do not condone the actions of the Israeli government in Gaza but I do not blame every jewish person for what is happening.

Now getting multiple followers per day (thank you someone). But as I go through and vet these new followers the piece of joy I get from almost everyone of them is not only do they love their democracy but they their love animals. Do psychopaths like animals?

Trump is unwittingly destroying America because his ego is so fragile that he can only do things in his own interest and not the county's. God is not blessing Trump's America.

My 87 year old mother asked me what woke meant. I gave my best answer and I am Australian. I thought woke was when white Americans woke up to what afro Americans had been experiencing. And now it is a term of right wing abuse diminishing its earlier significance. Sorry if I have got this wrong.

In the early days pre World War II it was clear where the epicentre of Fascism was and that was Spain. And so many people including George Orwell went there and he wrote Homage to Catalonia. Nazi Germany bombed Guernica and Picasso produced an horrific master work. Trump will not inspire greatness

I have a few places on my bucket list that I want to go to before I die. Am going to Poland (Auschwitz) this year I have always wanted to visit Chicago for its amazing architecture. Can somebody let me know when it may be safe to visit America again please.

The chaos in the American political landscape is making me rethink my support for a republic in this country. This is not out of loyalty to the British Monarchy but out of fear that we may lose some checks and balances that protect us. Happy to be convinced otherwise.
