My family hasn't noticed that for the past 7 years they have been eating the same things for dinner, starting on 1 November. This is my secret Christmas tradition thanks to @nigelslater.bsky.social and his wonderful Christmas Chronicles book. Great recipes but so much more than that, a great read.

It's the first icy corkscrews of the season. Clearly the handrail is dirty/rusty inside but it's still an amazing sight which the kids loved when they were small.
