Picked up this lilac puzzle from Miniso and I’m obsessed with how cute it turned out. Didn’t expect a wooden build to look this pretty on my desk but here we are. Tiny flowers, big serotonin. #Miniso #Lilac #PuzzleCraft

Starting Order of Giants tonight and I can already feel this DLC judging me. I bought it, I’m locked in, and I’m fully prepared for the first ten minutes to humble me in ways I’m not emotionally ready for. Wish me luck. #IndianaJones #OrderOfGiants #Gaming

Всегда, когда вижу подобные памятники (а в США и Канаде их очень много), удивляюсь, зачем они вообще нужны. Кто-то ведь потратился на эту глупость и поставил её у дороги.

Saw an Edmonton arctic hare today with its coat fully white now. Little dude looked so ready for the cold that I felt underdressed. ❄️🐇

Booted up Splinter Cell on the GBA and suddenly I’m in “Tbilisi”… except it looks exactly like a generic 2000s American city. Be honest, we all kinda thought that’s what Georgia looked like back then 🤣

That’s great work! Downtowns in North American cities are often dead zones with poor infrastructure and vast parking lots. It’s such a pleasure to see this change.
Very excited to see the opening of O-day’min Park between 106 & 108 Streets downtown!

Over the next week, the City of Edmonton will be hosting a range of events to celebrate. You can go to edmonton.ca/events to see them all.

I encourage everyone to stop by and check it out! #ableg #yegdt

❄️ First snowfall of the season in Edmonton! Streets are quiet, everything’s wrapped in white, and the air suddenly smells like winter. Time to find the gloves you swore you wouldn’t lose last year. #YEG #FirstSnow #WinterIsHere

Auto drive in Cyberpunk 2077 is a trust exercise gone wrong. You sit back, thinking the car’s got this, and five seconds later it’s hugging a lamppost like an old friend. Who needs enemies in Night City when the GPS will kill you first? #Cyberpunk2077 #AutoDrive

I finally decided to buy myself a birthday gift, albeit a bit late — my first modern TV that plays movies at 60 fps, and for gaming supports 144 Hz. I spent a long time eyeing it, picking out a store. Finally the price became affordable, and I placed the order.

Aesthetically, the creators of Atomic Heart hit the bullseye. Retrofuturism here isn’t just a backdrop — it perfectly fits the Soviet standard, where cast-iron drones fly in the sky and technology serves the state, not the individual.⤵️

Lilac and gooseberries — scents that drifted through my childhood, long before they became symbols of mystery and longing in The Witcher 3. Wild how a Polish author made the world fall in love with fragrances many of us grew up knowing by heart. Culture travels by scent too.

I knew (and was surprised at first) that American homes are largely built using wood instead of brick. What I didn’t know that homes in America are 240% larger on average than homes outside America.

Metroid changed gaming forever. It didn’t just invent a genre. It shocked players when the hero removed the helmet to reveal a woman. With all the hate toward female characters online today, maybe it’s time for another moment that brave. #Metroid #GamingCulture #OnlineCulture

When I saw this, my heart skipped a beat. What an incredible tribute to Ghost of Tsushima! I was expecting an Easter egg, but definitely not like this. The moment that black fox with glowing red eyes appeared, I realized—it’s Jin Sakai himself. Absolutely brilliant. #GhostOfTsushima #Gaming

Story-wise I still prefer Ghost of Tsushima. Jin Sakai’s journey felt unfinished. But that doesn’t make Ghost of Yotei a weaker game — it’s often prettier and its choices feel more grounded. Still, it lost the magic: the wind is no longer Jin’s father, and the golden bird is not his mother.

Throwback to American McGee’s Alice (2000). That game was pure gothic madness full of dark halls, eerie whispers, and a Wonderland that felt broken. Knowing McGee’s story now makes it all hit deeper. Still wild that the series just vanished like a dream you can’t get back.

Ghost of Yotei is indeed a visually stunning game. While the narrative may feel familiar, it still broke me again and again. I could barely see Ghost of Tsushima through tear filled eyes and I am certain Ghost of Yotei will also rip my soul apart with beauty and heartbreak in every single frame.

1998’s #Sega #Dreamcast still blows my mind. Playing #SonicAdventure today and the visuals rival the PS2 which arrived in 2000. The console was far ahead of its time. The only drawback is that early 3D controls were so rough they made the chair melt under a player’s sun hot butt.

In the 1980s, when the HIV/AIDS epidemic broke out in the USA, the Raegan Administration did nothing to help the people who were wasting away before their eyes. On the contrary, right-wing Republicans spread the narrative that this epidemic was God's punishment for homosexuality.

SEGA’s Jungle Book was basically Dark Souls back then. Pigs and monkeys bullying you nonstop, pits everywhere, no mercy given. Yet we kept playing like maniacs. Childhood trauma in 16-bit, but looking gorgeous while doing it. Pain never looked this good, and we loved it.

I’ve been playing #Hitman, still a fantastic series. But my heart belongs to Hitman 2: Silent Assassin from 2002. Dual silverballers sending enemies flying like ragdoll fireworks were my favourite.
Some say the fiber wire is the classic Hitman weapon, but for me, it’s always been the Silverballers.
