Coworkers got laid off today. How do I point out to management “hey don’t remove them from the teams chat before we have realized they’re gone” without…uh, I dunno, getting fired too?
I just think they should have privacy, time and agency to tell their friends and family 😕

Fifteen years ago today, I got the call that my biopsy results showed breast cancer.
PS. I was currently unemployed. Obamacare wasn’t a thing. But I had COBRA insurance.
My kids were 15 and 12.

Lost my wallet in a convenience/gas station parking lot in the rain. Someone took the cash ($40) and scattered the rest on the ground. A young woman picked it all up, looked at my license, and drove to my house to return it. At least I don’t have to get a new license! Made a bad day a little better.
