about to cry, but, in time. in rare but not random cases. you will see what people did for you, even albeit you still would not agree (past or present), and you certainly would’ve wanted to do something differently (you or them). but you’ll see, you’ll see again: you loved them. they loved you back.

it’s alright to have conflict. but to have doubts in each other, i realize, is another matter. the faith one has in the other person and vice versa transcends any rift. it is good to be believed in, and to have people in whom, despite conflict, you can believe. a lesson in interdependence.

i’ve been through enough celebrification and performance spectacle in the midst of circused political chaos to not feel a thing about the halftime show, or anything else like that, honestly… i see it as enough art and action when done in earnest, but at my core. i really only feel disenchantment.

in the hellhole of ‘a-list celebrities finally speaking up’ it is lady gaga who can speak out and make a dent about zionism. where a beyonce never talks, and a taylor swift is just a placard, i imagine gaga has the ability to self-reflect on what she’s learned (if so), and the gravitas to be direct.
