A thread: As a former litigator, I spent years advocating for clients in courtrooms. I stood before judges hundreds of times—some I admired and others I did not. Some rulings fell in my favor; others did not. Regardless of the outcome, I always approached the bench with the utmost respect. 1/11

I started a pottery spinning class this winter. On the 1st day I said “I have no experience, no goal. I’m just stressed about the world and need a brain break.” Everyone in the class agreed, “yes! Me too!”

In this weekend’s class, one of my classmates came in wearing this. I found community 😌.

Happy 21st birthday to my birthday buddy, this big hearted and amusing young adult who gave me the gift of motherhood. Not knowing if he was headed to France or Ann Arbor this semester we celebrated a few weeks early and will look forward to sharing a legal cheers sometime soon.
