You know those weeks where you feel like you can’t catch a break? This week has been one of those weeks. Nothing huge, just lots of little things that have added up.

It was this cold in Cardiff today. Yet still my 10 year old went to school in shorts and a tshirt and had to be persuaded to take a coat. I have spent all day working at home wrapped in a blanket and genuinely don’t understand how he doesn’t feel the cold. It was 1.5 degrees when we left for school!

Me in a nutshell.

Three of my family are full up with coughs and colds so it’s a snuggly afternoon with our first Christmas film of the season – Home Alone. I don’t care if people think it’s too soon!

Do we share photos over here? This is Roath Lake and its famous lighthouse, last weekend just as it was getting dusky. I write a lot about days out and events in and around Cardiff, mostly with a family focus, but this was a solo walk that really helped clear my head after a stressful few days.
