St Richard Gwyn, Welsh schoolteacher and poet, was executed at Wrexham in 1584 for refusing to renounce his Catholic faith. Canonised 1970 as one of the Forty Martyrs of England and Wales.

Wishing Fr Laurence all the best as he heads to Rome for 3 years to study Canon Law! Yesterday he celebrated his final Mass at Archbishop’s House & shared a lovely reflection on how heaven is being with Christ. He’ll be missed — buona fortuna, Fr Laurence! 🇮🇹✨
