A #topographic representation of the area encompassing the #BartonCreekGreenbelt in #Austin, a natural area that follows Barton Creek to the Colorado River. Each color was chosen carefully, considering the feeling I get while hiking in the area, as well as the relationships with surround #colors.

I timed my visit to #BigBend to see the Ocotillos in bloom, when they transform from thorns to delicately leaved stalks topped with red flowers.

I spotted these #wildflowers buzzing with bees while walking around my neighborhood in #Austin. After sitting with the bees and flowers for a few minutes, I took about a dozen photos – which I used to make this #painting.
