Here is fawn in our back yard who is also interested in my favourite bird: Quails! This was from a few years ago when there was a covey (flock) of about 40+ quails that frequented our yard. It was a lovely time.

Had a great game of Trench Crusade yesterday, battling over a ruined plaza, with the burnt out husks of some small tanks. I played as Sultanate against my friends Papal States, and lost, but it was a hell of a fun time.
Really enjoying the smaller (500d and 5g) games, and making more warbands.

Had a great game of Trench Crusade yesterday, battling over a ruined plaza, with the burnt out husks of some small tanks. I played as Sultanate against my friends Papal States, and lost, but it was a hell of a fun time.
Really enjoying the smaller (500d and 5g) games, and making more warbands.

Finally managed to have the Trench crusade games! with 500d and 5 glory, I used a Sultanate force for the first time, and just managed to squeak a victory against black grail, and had a genuine tie against the papal states. Very fun times, and I am now inspired for more terrain making and design

Well, I was supposed to have a grand day of trench crusade today, but I seem to have come down with a cold. So I suppose I will have to get some games in in the new year. Cheers all! Happy New Year!

I have now finished the Victrix Rus warband that I got, plus a few extra figures here and there, and some Norman cavalry. I just love painting the dark age guys, there are so easy and quick.

Not too much new stuff in the last little while (I have run out of my normal shade wash thingy, and am waiting on more). However, I made this guy up a while ago. All the pillage guys I was making were going to double-duty as Lion/Dragon Rampant, and this bog giant is going to be a greater warbeast.

Finished my monthly challenge for my local games store, which was "New Unit November". I started and finished the unit of 6 cavalry for my Dragon Rampant army (now at 24 points of Cathay miniatures). I even put all the tufts on! which I have been negligent on for the last couple months. Cheers!

I had a great game of Pillage last night at the local games shop, just 250gp on a 2x2 board, but damn it was good fun. My Baltic tribes fought some Norse, and I managed to be the last chieftain standing.
Now I am trying to finish my cathay cavalry for the end of the month. Just a bit left to go!

So I had a blast with the all-schmuck warband in Trench Crusade, but its not really the proper New Antioch experience. So now I am looking for good Heavy Machine Infantry STLs or kits to fit in especially well with my Wargames Atlantic ww1 French force. Any suggestions would be grand!

I have been working on some Pillage Wargame stuff recently, and also had a good game of it. We were able to play on my friends 2x2 foot board he made, and we just had 250 point forces, but it was grand fun. Also pictures is all my finished Victrix pillage miniatures so far. There are more to paint..

We did! I managed to finish my Lieutenant (on horse), and have a battle over a bridge. My forces died gloriously defending the bridge from the Trench Ghosts (fielded by my friend Thomas, who also took the pictures). I managed to just squeak through holding objectives, and take out his tank-priest.
