When doing freelancing, I was tracking my time with a time tracker. Unfortunately, I accidentally deleted some of my entries and the only way to get the data back, was to contact support.

I'm not a fan of using external software for authentication. For example, having to pay $100/month on clerk for Multi-factor auth seems crazy where it's quite easy to implement

I'm using remix-auth, I find it quite easy to do your own

Today, I realised that people had no way of resetting their password... So I had to create this flow, because I'm not validating people's email to let them try the app quickly!

But maybe I should implement a magic-link login instead for billablehours.app?

But it would be nice if invoices could be generated every month with the tracking of the previous month, it could send me an email with a link to automatically send the invoice: this is what billablehours.app can do for you

Then I was wondering, why stop here? I also always need to send the invoice by email with my bank details. So now, with billablehours.app I generate my invoice, I see a preview of the email and I can automatically send it

After that, I realised that I also needed to invoice at the end of the month, so I automated that too.

With billablehours.app, whenever you need to generate an invoice, you pick the client that need an invoice, the trackings and it will create a minimalist designed invoice
