I've been pretty down since Nicko retired from Iron Maiden; I am nervous more than I am excited for the upcoming tour, and I haven't been in any mood to speculate on my channel as I usually do.

So when I say today was great, I mean it. Big thanks to Nicko for taking time for the fans today.

Poured myself a half glass of some straight unsweetened cranberry juice, on a quest for antioxidants. Getting through it has felt like Dumbledore trying to get through the drink of despair. Foul. Don't make me go on.

I chose to do Aces High Eddie for this album, as the Eddie on the album cover is a statue. He turned out to be my most popular one.

Powerslave is arguably the bands best album; and the World Slavery tour definitely launched them into legendary status

Every #Ironmaiden Eddie number 4; Piece of Mind!!

This album is cover to cover excellence. Open with a bang, close with an early Steve epic(a bit short to be considered one, but it -feels- like one!)

Perfect album to release amidst the satanic panic of the 1980s, this guy surely scared the pants off of at least a few mothers.

I'd argue this album has Iron Maiden's best song; Hallowed be thy Name.

Hopefully the band play a song or two from this album this year; all I have seen from it so far is "Wrathchild". Would love the title track or "Another Life".
