Chapter 5 is almost complete, just a couple more scenes remaining until I can move onto 6! Moarte and Niko's dynamic is really tested in this chapter. I was excited to write it, and still am!

Update: I've been writing again, and even though I'm still only on draft 1, I think it's going to be my best story yet, and the first one I'll actually publish. Recently finished chapter 2 and only just now reached 8K!

I'll say this right here and now: I hate Gen-AI. I do not support it, not will I ever condone it. It looks bad, it steals, I've even heard it impacts the environment! Though, that last part could be false, but regardless, the others points still stand!

Finally finished re-working the outline! Now I gotta review and add some final details before I can move on to writing the book again! I will say, I'm really scared that Twisted Fate won't land the way I want it to, but I'm seeing this until the end.

Hello! I took a step back and worked on re-outlining my story, and now I'm one chapter and an Epilogue away from finishing the new outline! I've given myself a deadline of Sunday to get this done, and if I manage to pull it off, I'm treating myself to some DoorDash :)

I never did finish the outline, though I have made big progress on it; I believe I'm nearing the end of it. Once completed, I will review it before moving on to writing. Once I do start, is there anything you'd want to see me share regarding it?

Shoutout to @deluna012.bsky.social for this amazing art piece of Marikus. It's nice to see a different side of him than what we see throughout the book. It's also cool to see him in modern clothes, it really paints how I want his character to be at the end of the book.

Best advice I've ever gotten was "write for your readers, not for randos", #pretendpanel.

People who don't like your stuff aren't gonna change their minds, but try to appease them and the people who *do* like your stuff might stop.

A zoomed in screenshot of my map of The Known World showing a small part of it. This is called The Neutral Zone. In the middle of the zone is Lake Trivenir. There are two towns surrounding it, one down south and one northeast, both towns are called Triviis. To the west is the meeting point for The Hexarchy known as Pervenir. There's a road running south from Pervenir called the Path of Peace and Freedom. There's also a road that runs through both towns that meets at the end of the Path of Peace and Freedom which form The Crossroads that continue both south and west.

Got some huge progress on the outline done tonight, and man am I proud! I hope to get more done tomorrow, but only time will tell lol. There are some very interesting scenes that will appear in this book that I'm so very hyped for!
