One thing I like about #BlueSky over X is my feed is so much cleaner & I am not pushed all kinds of trash content that I didn’t ask for.
However many of the people on BlueSky are just as toxic (even more so) than those on X, so I still don’t feel I want to engage with anyone for the most part.

Hey @bsky.app I have always felt that “like” is not always appropriate & that adding a simple “check” would serve a better purpose.
I dislike clicking a “heart” when I get an article about war or floods, but would like to be able to tell the poster that I have read & acknowledged the post. Consider.

While I do support the Liberal Party, I do not support this kind of nonsense.
I agree with A. Coyne. Mr. Carney must condone this immediately & those who did it should be reprimanded publicly if not dismissed outright.

Well, @bonnieforontario.bsky.social has shown herself to be a ineffective leader, an inefficient motivator, a bad communicator & a poor campaigner.
When your leader can’t manage to win her own seat, that is a damning condemnation of her leadership.

I left Twitter/X because of the (mostly US Right-Wing Extreme) crap that was being pushed into my feed by Elon’s algorithms. So happily, that’s gone.
But now I get shares of threads that are just as toxic (if not more so) from the other side of the spectrum.
WTH is wrong with people?

Doing some early house cleaning with the accounts I follow on BlueSky. Being in charge of what I see is nice. So while I don’t have an issue with differing views per se, I have discovered I have little patience for mean spirited snark from some of the Canadian Journalists I just unfollowed.
