Agreed. Not enough people ate talking about the tariffs as abuse of emergency powers. Everyone should be calling senate/house reps on Monday to demand they obstruct everything they can—tariffs are definitely bad but there’s much worse he can do if Congress rolls over on him abusing emergency powers.
Reminder: The Constitution says Congress regulates trade. The president imposing tariffs is an abuse of emergency powers.
There is clearly no US national security emergency regarding Canada. Media might not care, weaklings in Congress might want to forfeit their authority, but still, facts matter.
