It may sound sappy or corny, but being kind during the holidays is everything. Whilst it's a beautiful time of year, it can be heavy for so many. We're all in this life together, and in the end, we only have one another. We can't take away other's pain, but we can at least be a source of their joy.

Does anyone really know the truth? We may think we do but do we really, how do you know? So much of life is perception and what we “want” to see or in many cases what we “need” to see to make it through. Either way what you know and what I know may not be the same but I’m ok with that.

True story!!! I can say this is true for me with songs, movies, and even pages of a book (those sometimes require a multi-repeat lol)…. I’m blaming it on the fact that I’m juggling too much but to be honest I’m just easily distracted! 🙃

This is an important concept to learn, some things deserve a reaction and others deserve nothing. Strength is not measured by who is the loudest but instead strength is sometimes measured by who can stay calm and protect their peace even when they disagree.

💗All time favorite quote 💗 (someone even made a t-shirt for me with this quote because I said it all the time while teaching and my students absolutely started quoting it as well to other children, amazing how that works.

I can never understand why children's books get left out of "great book" lists. The books we call "children's books" are really books written for an audience that includes children, but excludes no-one. They are books for EVERYONE - and if you exclude them, you miss the most important books of all!
