Finished up this building block set this morning. There are lights in the waterfall; my one complaint is that they are multicolored, like Xmas lights—wish they were all white or blue. Other than that, beautiful! 🌸🌴🎋

When you immerse yourself in the fantasy genre, what type of glasses (if any) do you like your mentor to where?
Do you prefer the round glasses that frame the eyes (maybe even magnifying them) or the half lenses that only seem to work when they are reading?

693 words today. The outline seems to be helping. I need a couple days between writing so far (could just be how busy I am with other things) but when I do sit down to write, I bust out the entire zero draft chapter in one sitting. Neat.

432 words written today. That’s over 300 more than I’ve managed to write in a day in a long time. Not sure yet if it’s the outline effect or just a random good day of writing, but I love it.

In my journal, I occasionally work on writing exercises. This one is based on Fitzgerald's use of color in The Great Gatsby.
Based on my WIP, I assigned colors as metaphors or symbols. This was fun and helped me figure out some of the vibe for my story. Do you do color work for your writing?
