You know, I'm 50/50 on whether all this Fang/Vanille stuff showing up on multiple feeds of mine is just another part of a long line of queer content/media I've encountered over the years, or a blatant sign telling me to "just hurry up and get to revisiting the Final Fantasy XIII Trilogy again".

You know, it's funny. I've been really enjoying the Gnosia anime, but the most unrealistic thing about Episode 5 is that Yuri managed to get Yuriko into cold sleep.

Finished reading "No Land For Heroes" by @thatcalamity.bsky.social, and had a blast with it. I flew through it, and loved the blending of Wild West and fantasy. I enjoyed Millie, Ryan, and Gilbert character-wise and can't wait to check out the follow up "No Port in a Storm".
Definitely recommended!

Finished "Yet Another Killing Game" last night on Steam. It's a neat, nicely done little spin on death games, with a good cast. I really liked Oriana, and there's definitely some queer coding in the female cast with some of Cecilia's behaviour, and how Oriana talks about a certain other club member.

Not related to earlier stuff, but I'm just looking back thinking, and with like anime or even games it's kind of funny at times what initially turned me away from things that I wound up enjoying later.
Like, I avoided watching Claymore partly since the characters' noses looked kinda off to me, lol.

We had 2 runs that tied it in Game 6 called back last night, and had the winning run in the 9th in Game 7 called off tonight despite the catcher's foot being off the mat.
That's emphatically NOT choking.

I've seen some bullshit sports calls in my time, but calling back the 2 runs that would have tied the game for the Blue Jays in a game that would've given them the World Series if they won is absolutely right up there at the top.

I kinda have a pet peeve when watching people LP or Stream Hundred Line. So many say how they love they game, only to keep skipping battles or get upset when they can't.
Like, I've never seen a game where so many people go out of their way to NOT play it while they're playing. Battles are fun too.
