Aluminum price is up app. 50%. The US uses over 4 million tons of aluminum each year. US plants at 50% capacity produce 670,000 lbs aluminum each year. Double that is 1.3 million tons per year. A new plant will add 600,000 by end of decade. So over 50% of US requirements will be priced 50% higher.
