The future of our good society depends, I think, on our innovating new social structures, not just on switching from one similarly-structured commercial platform to another. I don't know that the fediverse is the answer, but I do think it's headed in the right direction--join a Mastodon instance.

I heard the republican party might be splitting up after 2028. It's hard to find good names, but they're leaning towards "Good GOP", "Bad GOP".
