Diego Hernandez Garcia's deferred action status was terminated the same day ICE took him into custody, according to federal court filings.

He was detained at a Hardin Valley Construction site earlier in the month, and his lawyer is trying to file for his release.

A Knoxville attorney says ICE wrongfully took her client — a man who has been in the U.S. since he was a kid — into custody at a Hardin Valley construction site. She says he's protected by deferred action while his case is processed, but he's in custody anyway.

Letters I got from the TN secretary of state say he's asking public library directors to comb through children's books and take action against any deemed inappropriate.

Those that don't could risk losing funding.

Andrew Worrall, a former director at Oak Ridge National Laboratory, has been charged with child sex crimes, according to federal court documents I got a hold of.

They said he sent a 17 y/o instructions for filming herself in the shower.

Allies of Knoxville’s Immigrant Neighbors, an immigrant and refugee advocacy group also known as AKIN, has called for the release of Alejandro Guizar Lozano from police custody.

The group said he's an AKIN member detained by ICE in Putnam County.
